Ketil Bjørnstad through 50 years

Oslo Jazz Festival is proud to present Ketil Bjørnstad in this year's opening concert, on the occasion of his 50th anniversary as an artist.

Ketil Bjørnstad has released several albums at ECM amongst others and sold more than half a million copies over the world. The legendary film director Jean Luc Godard who has made use of Bjørnstad's music in several films.

Bjørnstad moves between classical music to jazz to avant-garde, which he has been doing through all of his career.

On this concert, we will meet Bjørnstad together with several guests, such as Ole Paus, Anneli Drecker, Lill Lindfors, Kristin Asbjørnsen, Svante Henryson, Audun Erlien, Frode Alnæs and Rune Arnesen.
