Described as "charismatic and fascinating for his acting and vocal naturalness", Davide Giusti has achieved notable successes in the great tenor opera roles such as Rodolfo in La bohème, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Alfredo in La traviata, Duca di Mantova in Rigoletto, Tebaldo in I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Ferrando in Così fan tutte.

He has sung in prestigious international institutions such as the Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Tel Aviv Opera, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, the Teatro São Carlos in Lisbon, the Polish National Opera in Warsaw, the Tchaikovsky State Opera in Perm. He collaborates with top conductors such as Kent Nagano, Teodor Currentzis, Myung-Whun Chung, Riccardo Muti, Fabio Biondi, Christian Zacharias, Patrick Fournillier, Francesco Lanzillotta, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Thomas Kemp, Giampaolo Bisanti, Claus Peter Flor, Donato Renzetti, among others.

Extensively active also in recitals and concerts, he has performed Haydn's St. Cecilia Mass, Mozart's Requiem and Great Mass in C minor, Rossini's Stabat Mater and Petite Messe Solennelle, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Händel's Messiah, Donizetti's Requiem.

Besides devoting himself to the cornerstones of opera, Davide Giusti has a strong interest in performing rare and contemporary works. He sang, among others, as the Amante in Menotti's Amelia al ballo at the Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto; as the Young Konrad in Tutino's Le Braci at the Festival della Valle d'Itria di Martina Franca and at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

Highlights of the 2022/23 season include Rigoletto (Duke of Mantua) at the Gothenburg Opera, La bohème (Rodolfo) at the Teatr Wielki/Polish National Opera in Warsaw (cond. Patrick Fournillier), followed by Madama Butterfly (Pinkerton) at the Lithuanian National Opera (cond. Sesto Quatrini), Falstaff (Fenton) at the Opéra de Nice (cond. Daniele Callegari), Nabucco (Ismaele) at the Grand Théatre de Genève (cond. A. Fogliani), a new production of La traviata (Alfredo) at the Den Norske Opera in Oslo, Rigoletto (Duke of Mantua) at the Kungliga Operan in Stockholm (cond. J.Fiore), and Verdi’s Requiem at the Rheingau Festival with Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano (cond. Claus Peter Flor).

Davide Giusti was born in Civitanova Marche (Italy). He graduated with honours from the Conservatorio Pergolesi in Fermo and perfected his studies with Renata Scotto, Raina Kabaivanska, Alberto Zedda and Ernesto Palacio.

He made his debut in 2010 as Ferrando in Così fan tutte at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and in 2012 he attended the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro under the guidance of Alberto Zedda, making his debut as Cavaliere Belfiore in Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims.

He has won prestigious international competitions, including 'Operalia di Plácido Domingo' and 'Renata Tebaldi'.
