Since 2010 Elisabet Strid is guest at international Opera Houses and Festivals such as the Semperoper Dresden, National Operas of Oslo, Helsinki, Riga, the Opera House Leipzig, Rhine Opera Dusseldorf-Duisburg, Gotenburg Opera, the Vlaamse Opera Antwerpen, Opéra de Lille, Bellas Artes Mexico, the Baltic Sea Festival Stockholm, the Festivals in the Ancient Theatre Plovdiv, in Copenhagen, Tampere and the Wagner-Days Budapest.
2013 she made her debut at the Bayreuth Festival as well as her US debut at the Michigan Opera Detroit. 2017 she was back in the US as SIEGLINDE at the Lyric Opera Chicago.

The Swedish soprano is in demand with roles such as ELISABETH in Tannhäuser, ADA in Die Feen, FREIA in Rheingold, SIEGLINDE in Walküre, BRÜNNHILDE in Siegfried, GUTRUNE in Götterdämmerung, SENTA in The Flying Dutchman, as CHRYSOTHEMIS and SALOME.

She also performed RUSALKA, CIO-CIO-SAN in Madama Butterfly, GIORGETTA in 'Il Tabarro' or NYSSIA in King Kandaules as well as many concerts in Sweden, Germany, Hungary and Mexico.

Elisabet Strid works with renowned conductors and stage directors such as Andris Nelsons, Adám Fischer, Lorin Maazel, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Cornelius Meister, Axel Kober, Ivan Anguélov, Kent Nagano, Stefan Herheim, David Pountney, Calixto Bieito ,Frank Castorf, Barbe&Doucet, Àlex Ollé / La Fura dels Baus.

Future engagements take her as SENTA to the Budapest Wagner Days and the State Opera Stuttgart, as LISA in Pique Dame she debuts in Düsseldorf, as MARIETTA in Die Tote Stadt in Helsinki. SALOME she sings in Leipzig and Tel Aviv.

In June 2017 her first solo album 'Wagner und Beethoven' will be released at OehmsClassics.
