Dingkai Bai
Dingkai Bai joined the Norwegian National Ballet in autumn 2024, after dancing with the Dutch National Ballet since 2018. During his time in the Netherlands, he danced Rothbart and Pas de Six Solo Couple in van Dantzig’s Swan Lake, Hilaron and Pas de Quatre in Beaujean’s Giselle, Bernard in Beaujean’s Raymonda, and Quid sum miser in Spuck’s Messa da Requiem, among other roles. He has also danced in works as McGregor’s Yugen and Forsythe’s Blake Works.
Chinese Bai (b. 1999) was born in the city of Mohe, and stared dancing at the age of nine at a dance school in Shanghai. After winning the scholarship prize at the international ballet competition Prix de Lausanne in 2016, he moved to London and started his professional ballet education at The Royal Ballet School.
