James Linus Lynch

James Linus Lynch (2003) joined the Norwegian National Ballet 2 in August 2022.

Lynch originally born in Chicago, moved to Norway when he was 3 years old. In 2010 he started at the ballet school at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet, and after nine years he enrolled at the Tanz Akademie in Zürich where he completed his bachelor’s degree.

Lynch has danced in several major productions. Among others in How I Know You by Leo Mujić, Core by Francesco Annarumma and Wo dein sanfter Flügel weilt by Seh Yun Kim. As a student at the Norwegian National Ballet School, he danced in The Nutcracker, and A Midsummer Night's Dream by Lucas Lima, where he danced the lead role of Oberion.
