Linus Lynch

Linus Lynch joined the Norwegian National Ballet in the autumn of 2024, after two years with the Norwegian National Ballet UNG. With the company, Lynch has performed roles including the Arabian couple and the Rat King in Boyadjiev’s The Nutcracker, Nøkken in Espejord’s A Tale About Swan Lake, Brahmin in Makarova’s La Bayadère, and Tybalt in Boyadjiev’s Romeo and Juliet. He has also danced in Jiří Kylián’s Petite Mort and Symphony of Psalms as well as León & Lightfoot’s Step Lightly.

Lynch (b. 2003) was born in Chicago but moved to Norway at the age of three. In 2010, he began training at the Ballet School of the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, and after nine years he was accepted into the Zurich Dance Academy, where he completed a bachelor’s degree. During his studies, Lynch performed in several major productions, including How I Know You by Leo Mujić, Core by Francesco Annarumma, and Wo dein sanfter Flügel weilt by Seh Yun Kim.
